New thread since I misspelled the title last time.

I know the application deadline isn't until September 1st but has anyone started applying for Gonzaga for 2019? I just passed my CCRN in the last two weeks so I'm starting to get all my information together for the application. Almost 3 years RN, almost 2 years in ICU, BSN, BLS/ACLS/PALS, CCRN, taking the GRE on Saturday (not needed for Gonzaga but for other schools I'm apply to), 3.18 overall GPA, 3.79 science GPA, 3.64 GPA in my last 100 hours.

I guess so. time to move on lol and focus on different programs now

Would be nice to get an email saying that.

Hi everyone,

Congratulations to everyone who got invited to interview. I also got invited for an interview. I am flying from Boston on 10/07, we should definitely meet.

Are they done sending out interview invites?

That I'm not 100% sure on simply because I haven't asked. Sorry!

No problem. I just want to know my status. This is my first cycle of applying and have already gotten two no interviews. Thank you for your information as well.

Hey, I'm sorry you have not heard anything yet. I suggest maybe calling them to find out the status of your application, or maybe emailing your admissions counselor. I wish you the best and don't despair.

To all who have received an interview, be super proud of yourself! This year Gonzaga has had the most applicants than any year before. It is incredibly competitive! But your hard work will pay off, and you'll be happy if you get in to Gonzaga's program. Good luck to you all :)

Hi delmel1,

I was wondering if you can perhaps tell us how the interview process is. From my understanding, you have 3 -20 min interviews with current students, professors and director, but do you have any tips? What did you do to prepare?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I'll call in the morning and see what my status is.

Gonzaga is my first choice because of their stats, the fact that I love the Pacific Northwest, and that amazing experience I had a meeting with the director and shadowing a Crna at Sacred Heart. I was absolutely impressed with the program.

Do you know how many applications they received?

Also no word on my application. I am disappointed because I felt I was competitive. I reached out to admissions and haven't heard back, but will send updates when I hear if all invitations have been sent. Anyone else?

Does anyone know the statistics of applications this year? - how many applied? How many met the requirements? How many interview invitations were sent out? Etc...

Hi Guys,

I also applied this year and didn't hear anything. I did email them yesterday and was told they will be making interview decisions until the end of the week. With how competitive it sounded this year I'm not feeling particularly hopeful for myself but thought I would share for everyone else in the same boat!
