GONZAGA BSN

I just found out I was accepted to the Fall 2011 BSN program at Gonzaga. It's hard to find anyone out there who has/is: completed or currently in the program. I am curious about the class schedule, time spent on campus, has anyone worked through it? Would you recommend the program? It is quite expensive (24 months~65,000) If anyone has any answers let me know!! I've been accepted to Marymount's ABSN program (15 months and ~$44,000) and need to make a decision soon! Thanks

Hey!

I graduated from the GU nursing program in Dec 2010. I actually really liked it despite a few glitches the program prepared me pretty well. I passed the NCLEX in 75 questions - actually our entire graduating class passed first try. look into scholarships, it would be ridiculous to pay full price to go to GU because pretty much everyone I knew was offered a scholarship. I am guessing you are already a GU student because they said they were switching over to freshman admit but maybe it hasn't happened yet. Lin Murphy is the director of the program now and she is amazing, if you are in Spokane I would try to make an appointment with her, she can talk you through everything, no BS. She was a hardcore teacher before she got this job she has but she has the biggest heart and truly wants her students to succeed. I would love to be anything like her as I continue my nursing career. Hope this reaches you in time!
