Anyone going to be apply to their program next year. They really intrigue me due to their pass rate, 100% almost every year for the last 10 to 15 years. They have switched from a MSN to DNAP within the last few years. They do have a very small class size with only 10 people accepted each year.

I interviewed there this cycle and was waitlisted. This year they upped to the number to 12 positions. Seems like a fantastic program. I definitely would have accepted had I gotten a spot.

What was the interview like? Do you plan to apply this next cycle?

No I accepted a spot in Case Western's program this Spring so I won't reapply.

The interview was super laid back. Three rooms. One was a clinical scenario with the assistant director (that was very laid back), one was with the director where they ask normal interview type questions, and one with a current student and faculty that was basically getting to know you questions.

They basically tell you during the interview process that everyone they interview is qualified and could be admitted to the program academically and experience wise, and that they really are looking for people that they are going to get along with, that will fit with the culture, and that they like as people. They said repeatedly, "Be yourself."

I was also waitlisted for the 2018 cohort. If I don't get into to OHSU, I will be re-applying.

I know the application deadline isn't until September 1st but has anyone started applying for Gonzaga for 2019? I just passed my CCRN in the last two weeks so I'm starting to get all my information together for the application. Almost 3 years RN, almost 2 years in ICU, BSN, BLS/ACLS/PALS, CCRN, taking the GRE on Saturday (not needed for Gonzaga but for other schools I'm apply to), 3.18 overall GPA, 3.79 science GPA, 3.64 GPA in my last 100 hours.

Just realized that I misspelled Gonzaga when I first made this thread.

I noticed that! Are you going to make a new one?
