I know this may be personal, but I am just wondering how you're paying for your education since you already have a bachelor degree. I am worried about finishing my psychology degree because I am already on full financial aid and I don't know if I will get any aid afterward since I will have completed my bachelor degree.
Obviously, I will search for employment, but I have two children in daycare and it is expensive! So, any information that you are willing to give about your financial situation and if you received enough aid to cover prerequisites or will receive enough aid for the program once you are admitted will be greatly appreciated.
Also, I live in Raleigh and have a grandmother in Goldsboro. I love the area! :)

I'm happy to share! I was lucky to receive several scholarships when I began my history degree, but I do have loans. My husband has a good job and thankfully we could live off I one income when I go back. If we couldn't, I would have to work in my field longer to be able to afford it. I also don't have any children. I was able to take a few pre-reqs with my history degree (we had 30 hrs of electives, which I chose to use for sciences because I originally thought about applying to PA school). I will have to pay for some out of pocket, but check into a forgivable education loan - I think there is some info on cfnc.org. Other than that, it's just spending and saving as wisely as we can! It has been tight at times but it's an investment we were both willing to make so that I could have a job I loved one day. :)

Hi to all readers,
I wanted to know if there are any students here from the Goldsboro area that are attending Wayne CC. Would love to know any stories you may have. Your stories and so on.
I'll start it off;
I'm 42 years young, a devoted husband of now 20 years and a father of 5 wonderful children (4 boys, 1 girl). Yes you read that correctly and no it is not a typo, lol. My wife and I really wanted a girl and it took us 4 boys to get to her. Their ages are 19, 18, 15, 12 and 10. I'm working on my pre-reqs at Wayne CC, however, not currently due to me being overseas at the moment. I'm finishing up a 2 year contract and I'll be returning home the beginning of August and I can't wait. I miss my wife and children, not to mention I'm ready to get back to school to become a nurse. That's enough about me. I look forward to reading your stories.
God Bless
