U.S.A. New Jersey

Just wondering if anyone has had success going in person to the NJ BON to expedite a license. I’m getting nervous because I start a new job soon and still do not have my compact license I applied for 2 months ago. I’ve been calling the BON practically every week but not much had been accomplished.

Sorry to hear this. I would make the effort to go in person, and ask to speak to a license processor. Perhaps a piece of your application is missing or your fingerprints did not go through. How frustrating for you!
Some states have a reputation for being very slow at approving licenses; New Jersey is one of those states.
Interesting! People are saying that it takes 2-6 months to get a NJ Compact license approved. That is way too long! 😐
