Going going back again

Hello fellow nurses, I'm pretty new at forums so any corrective criticism is always welcomed and in that note I'm writing to sell other opinions,I studied as an MA yrs ago and recently started attending school again for CNA, I want to work in a hospital with the patients yet I'm not sure how the girls differ I thought CNA was the second step from MA, yet as I research the field of CNA it seems almost backwards...I'm confused,I know either field is honorable and I'm proud to be part of the medical field again now at do I dare say...47 yrs of age..but I'm excited as well as anxious to proceed and would love to here y'alls experience and advice as to which way to continue my journey in the nursing profession..Thank you for your time in advance..gina
