Goal for Chronic Pain

I have a care plan due on a patient with Colon Cancer and Liver Cancer, and my first Diagnosis is Chronic Pain..however, I'm having trouble finding a goal for Chronic Pain - it must be measurable and specific. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Specializes in med/surg, telemetry, IV therapy, mgmt.

what is the related factor and symptoms? goals are going to be the predicted results of the nursing interventions you have in mind. so, what kind of interventions were you thinking of doing for this patient? what do you hope will be achieved by them? therein lie your goal(s).
