Gloves for waterbirths

Hi everybody,

In my new job as products coordinator for my health region, I received a request for x-long gloves, for waterbirths. The one we used to carry has been discontinued. I have been unable to find a different product (only veterinary non sterile gloves, which I can not recommend). Any suggestions?

We use veterinary gloves. No, they are not sterile, but neither are the "clean" gloves we wear for most tasks. If a sterile glove is needed, we put a sterile exam glove on over the long vet gloves. It works for us, and worked for JCAHO.
