Gifted Nurses Travel Co?

Anyone have any experience with Gifted Nurses travel nursing company? Any negatives? Positives?

While I don't know them personally, you can do better than random internet thumbs up or down. For starters, you need to be talking to other agencies for comparison. Pay, jobs, benefits, recruiters all need to be put into context. Can't do that with just one agency.

Plus it is not a bad idea to have several agencies in general rather putting all your eggs in one basket. What happens if plans falls through, or you discover a deal breaker with one agency after they finally deliver a contract?

I'm guessing you have some second thoughts just be asking. The best predictor of success is communication with your recruiters. If you feel like you can't trust them, or don't like how they communicate, how on earth will you be able to establish a good working relationship with them? Talk to lots of recruiters, and pick the best five to continue with regardless of the agency name. This is highly personal, and what works for you won't work for all travelers. Otherwise there would be just one agency!

Thanks NedRN. I am actually a seasoned traveler and am working with several companies. The reason I AM asking, is because I HAVE had a bad experience recently. The only reason I want to look elsewhere is because this company has jobs in the area I want to go, plus their stipends are better than my current company. I try to keep my options open. Just wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with them. Recruiters alone can make or break a company in my opinion.

Those are certainly good reasons to consider a new agency. Robison and Gifted have been around for a while but you hardly ever hear about them. Perhaps they are just fairly local. Local can be very good when you already want to work in one area (New Orleans from your other thread). I would still recommend shopping around rather than go for the first agency with the assignment you want. No hospital works with just one agency (other then vendor managed agencies and those still have other agencies they use).

Perhaps you will get lucky with a post from someone who knows them better. Otherwise I'd go with the vibe you get from the recruiter and the manager interview.
