I'm looking for others who might be applying to the LPN Bridge that starts Spring 2020.
I'm taking my TEAS later this month and am super nervous. I'm really hoping to get in!!!

Hey! I applied and the deadline was on the 1st and I'm just anxiously awaiting to see if I'm accepted.

I am on pins and needles. I am really excited. I wonder when they will send out letters. I know in previous cohorts then went out mid October.
Did you figure up your admission score? How'd you do on the TEAS?
I'm just wondering how many applied this year. I am nervous I'm not competitive enough with with my GPA.
I have no idea how to figure out my admission score. I was told the scoring formula wasn't made public. Do you have it? I did well on My TEAS and my GPA is good as well. The only thing I'm worried about is the fact that I haven't finished my math pre-req. I'm taking it now, but I don't know how that will affect my score. How about you? Do you know anyone else who has applied? You are the first person I have talked to that is applying.

On another feed from a previous year people were adding it up. So if you search on the GHC home page Nursing Admission Worksheet they give you a sample but it may be outdated. I need to e-mail Chance he is awesome with answering any questions. That shouldn’t affect your score too much at all since it is one class. I’m thinking not too many applied because the last few years on this forum when people started asking a lot responded. And you are also the first person I have spoke to that applied.
I saw the old scoring sheet that you mentioned, but I don't have ACT/SAT scores so I couldn't really figure out what mine would have been. I think that the 2020 class is the first one to use the new scoring. You are right, Chance is great about answering questions. I hate that we have such a long wait to find out. Hopefully this time next year we can be lamenting about our workload instead of our wait:)
Ok that’s what I was thinking. I knew they previously looked at those scores because o know a couple of nurses that have graduated from GHC a long time ago.
Yes, ??!Hopefully our wait won’t be too much longer. I’m just trying not to think about it too much!
Hey ! This is what Chance told me today.
Thanks for sharing. All pretty vague. I only have 2 Bs and they are both in science...all of my other grades are As. I wonder how that will affect my score being as 50% of the score comes from the sciences? The waiting is *so* hard!
I wonder how many people applied this year?
Yeah, super vague. Sounds like you will be fine! I’m worried I don’t think I’m competitive enough. But I was also told it hurt me that I took some of the required classes more than once even though I made a higher grade the second time.
I’m just hoping not too many people applied but probably like 100 I would say. I just met another girl the other day who applied as well and she made and 86 on her TEAS and all A’s and B’S and they told her that the B’s hurt her..so idk what to think anymore.
Like the girl you met, I am concerned that my B's hurt my chances as well since they are in the sciences. I met a girl who said she had B's and got a 78 on TEAS and was accepted into the traditional ASN program that just started in August.
I am suprised that more people haven't been on this forum yet. It seems in years past, the forum has been more active.
