Getting ready for next army board

I graduate from my BSN program in dec 2011. What should I do to be more marketable for the up and coming board? I'm planning on taking my ACLS & PALS this summer. I want to work in the ICU. I called my local AMEDD recruiter and the phone was disconnected. Btw, when should start my application process?

start app now - focus on doing a physical and starting security packet.. identify references, begin resume, collect transcripts, and get any job (ideally icu) but just start now so you are not a 'new nurse' and have 6 mo experience by next oct if possible :) you can call local recruiter and ask for nearest health care recruiters phone number.
