Getting into an MS-NP program

I am an RN with 8 years experience in mostly acute care. I am currently finishing up my BSN and am looking to start my Master's for NP (not sure if I want to do adult or family NP) in Jan. I am aware that there is some sort of rule now that after 2015 all NPs must have their doctorate. I am extremely NOT interested in getting my doctorate, and the plan is to finish up by the middle or end of 2014. Does anybody have any tips on good schools (online with ground features or otherwise), or any general info about how I go about getting into a program? How competitive has it been for those of you who have done this or for anyone you know who has done this? I will be working so programs geared towards working people are more desirable. Any tips are appreciated. Thank you!
