Getting back to where I was on a path to success!

Published

Fellow pre nursing students, please

give me some advice on what I should do.

I had to take a semester off to straighten

things out in my personal life that were

beyond my control. I am attending Ivy Tech

College Fort Wayne campus. Classes begin

in a few weeks but I cant start until

the first week of September.

I looked on Campus Connect and classes

I need are offered online.

Here is the thing I need to take A&P102

again because I had a D last fall yes

I know very bad!

I am kind of greatful as the nursing

department allows a 3 peat for classes.

Yeah I took it at IPFW and had the same grade,

now I know this is bad, but I have been

studying since I have been out last Fall and

I retained alot from the class.

Do I have a chance if I take A&P102

this fall and pass with an A even though

its not a class for points? Here is where I am

PSY101 B

ENG111 B

A&P101 C but gonna ask to retake

SOC111 B

Ivy Success A

Still need to retake A&P 102, Math123

A&P201& BIOL211.

If I were to get A's in these classes would I

stand a chance at the RN program?

Are you saying your school allows 3 repeats per class?

If so then of course you have a chance to get in. But I would advise for you to not to take another science or math class with A&P or continuing using the same study habits that hasn't worked for you in the past.

Ok thanks so much I appreciate

that word of advice. I will use different

study habbits for one.

One main reason I was not successful

before was not seeking out the resources

like tutoring when I became overwhelmed.

My test grades werent all bad last

semester I averaged a high C in lecture,but

due to life situations I missed

a practical and quiz and took my

grade way down.

It was mainly not being able to get

to class.

This semester is different. I would

like to take something that I could

get A's in all classes.
