I live in lexington,tx (central tx). I don't know where to start. I am 30 years old and always been a stay at home mom. I'm wondering what I need to study to get into nursing school. PLEASE HELP?

First you need to find some nursing schools in your area. Then find out what kind of degree they offer LVN, RN-ADN, RN-BSN. Decided which kind you want and what classes you have to take before applying to the school or program if any. Then get started on your prerequisits.
Thanks for the info?

if you have no college credits, I recommend you attend a community college first to get basic stuff out of the way at a cheaper cost. HOWEVER, you really need to contact the nursing school (s) first to see what is required. Some require you take certain course at their school in order to graduate.

i read this book-how to survive and maybe even love nursing school!: guide for students by students
by kelli s. dunham. it gave me great, realistic information and it helped me decide if nursing school was for me. i am 29 and just recently i decided to pursue my interest in nursing after already earning a degree.
when you research nursing schools and choose one you would like to pursue, most schools have detailed plans letting you know which classes must be taken before you can start actual nursing school.
