Was wondering if there are long waiting lists to enter nursing school in Georgia. thanks

In my experience, there aren't really waiting lists at most schools in GA. The programs are just really competive...some more than others. If you have all (or almost all) of your core classes, a high GPA, and high scores on the NET (or whatever test is required, if any) when you apply, you've got a good chance at getting in as soon as you apply.
