New applicant here! Non-traditional student as well, so we are in this together!
I just took my TEAS on the 18th and submitted my application right after submitting my TEAS score. I felt okay with my submission until I read through previous threads. I know it is a very competitive program! I'm curious though, if I've already submitted my application and TEAS score, could I still retake the TEAS and send in the new score to help? I got an email stating that I have met all minimum requirements etc.
Whew!

Good luck! I hope we both make it in! I do think whatever score you applied with is the one they will look at, so I don't think retaking it would affect anything, but you could ask. Reading the previous threads also makes me nervous, but I am still hopeful. There are 80 spots for Fall I believe, and 60 for Spring, and only a few applicants of each of those cohorts were in those threads, which is a pretty small sample size to be comparing to... but I couldn't help but look anyway! LOL
Yep! I am very impatient and anxious. ? I got a 90 TEAS and have a 4.0 science GPA but overall GPA is only 2.7 from being a bad student in my early college days ? All of my old classes are 7+ years old though, and I don't think they take classes older than 6 years into account. At least not for science. Which if they did that for all of my classes, I'd have a 4.0 overall GPA ?
Thanks for creating this thread! I am also a non-traditional student applying for the 2024 Fall semester. I submitted my application on Jan. 25th. I've finished my pre-reqs, but decided to retake psych 1101 this semester to make up for the "C" that I got 10+ years ago.
Here are my stats:
Science GPA: 4.0
Gen ED. GPA: 3.86
TEAS: 84
I haven't gotten the "met minimum requirements" email yet. How long did it take for you guys to get it after submission? It has only been 6 days, but I'm on edge LOL
MP30: You gotta make sure none of your pre-reqs have not expired because the application we get rejected or not be able to start the program....and also should take 2 weeks or less to get the letter.....Did you turn your TEAS score to the right campus?….but your status seem way better than mine..... good luck!!!!

It took a week or two but I submitted right before Christmas... I hope you get your email soon (if you haven't already!)

Hello! I didn't see a post for the Fall 2024 ASN cohort yet so wanted to make one to find some fellow applicants and potential future classmates! I am an older applicant (33, not "old," but you know... non-traditional student just finishing up pre-req's of AP2 and Micro this semester). I took my TEAS in December and applied the next day, LOL. I recently got the email that I meet the minimum requirements. April 30 feels so far away (but I've seen that some people get their acceptances in March or early April) so let's all wait impatiently together!
