Hello Future Panthers,
I have not seen any new threads for those of us looking to apply for the 2025 school year. Please post any new information received and let's try to help each other with the application process! Also, any help provided by current nursing students on the application process would be great.
I am applying for the BSN program. Still studying for the TEAS but I plan on taking it in July.

I plan on applying for Spring 2025 as well. However my advisor recommended I take my TEAS after completing some of my A&P 2 class in the fall, and applications are due Oct. 1. Do you think I should try taking the TEAS earlier in the semester to make sure incase it comes to the point where I have to retake it. And so it's not too late?

Hi Victoria,
If I were you, I would try some ATI practice tests/ study material and judge where you stand from there. However, I now A&P 2 is one of the main courses covered on the TEAS though. I was planning on taking the TEAS in July/August timeframe. I know the scores should submitted prior to Oct. 1st.
Do you know how soon you can take TEAS again after taking it once?

I am not applying for the BSN program, I'm applying for ASN, but I wanted to tell you to take your TEAS as soon as possible. I think you have to wait 30 days between taking it. I took my TEAS 3 weeks after the Spring semester ended and only completed Microbiology and A&P1. I had some family stuff going on so I BARELY studied, so I was nervous, but I got an 84 on my first try. It was heavy on Chemistry and A&P2, but I scored an 89 on the science portion. It's honestly not that hard. I found that Quizlets helped me the most. Many of them have specific questions from the TEAS 7 test. Take a practice test to see how you feel, but definitely take it sooner than later!
