Georgia State Perimeter ASN- Fall2020 Applicants

Hello!

Let's keep this forum active. I want to go through the process with you all.

I have applied for Fall2020 and this wait is killing me. I received a letter stating I meet the minimum requirements and will have an answer BY April 30.

I keep checking the mail regardless of the letter. My backup plans are Chatt Tech and South College who has basically already accepted me but I do NOT want to pay their crazy tuition fees. However, if I'm rejected from both Ga State and Chatt Tech then to South College I go.

My stats: TEAS: 81

Overall GPA: 3.81

Science GPA: 4.0

I've taken all pre-reqs and am ready to go. Still in some extra classes to get my health science associates. I graduate this May.

What are your stats? Your backup plans? Share your impatience. This wait is torture

My stats:

TEAS 84.7

GSU GPA 4.0

I am taking English writing2, Microbiology and lab , Psychology now. Will take Human develop in Summer. And I will complete all prerequisites before Fall.
As I know GPA is more important, especially AP 1 and 2. Lecture and lab.

Hey! I found out I got in after being denied for Spring. Has anyone that's been accepted received an email stating what the next steps are? Also, is there a facebook page for us? Thanks and CONGRATS!

Congratulations! I think the Spring 2020 facebook group is created by students. I didn't receive email yet but I believe we all will have a welcome package in the mail. They will tell us where to physical check, vaccines, where to buy uniform, may have a list of some medical terminology to remember. In my mail, they ask me to read the book "Test-Taking Techniques for Beginning Nursing Students" before the program start. I think we will be very busy soon.

@Hao Wang I emailed ------------------ and she just said no information will go out for a while. So I'm not too sure or if we are supposed to register for our classes when registration opens up or what? (Not sure what classes we are taking exactly).

New here but I got in, TEAS 95.3 and being a paramedic helped I am sure, maybe not. I am little worried with all the Coronavirus thing going around, may affect classes?

@Lagranarob - very nice TEAS score! Congratulations, you could go anywhere with that score! What was your GPA and did you finish your prerequisites?
