Try Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta. That's where I graduated. I've also been wondering what are good places to work as a new LPN (I was just licensed in Oct). Starting salary CAN be anywhere from $11 to $17, it all depends on where you are looking to work.

Try Lanier Technical College. They have full-time LPN programs in Forsyth County and Gainsville Georgia. They also have a part-time night LPN program in Oakwood.

Chattahoochee doesn't have a waiting list. It's mainly a competition to see who can get the highest GPA going in. Dmarie- how far is Lanier tech? I read a post where you said that N GA has their satelite program there. I live in Cobb county and I'm debating on whether I can make the drive or not.

Since you're already an LPN, the LPN-RN bridge satellite program in Forsyth would be the closest to you. It all depends on where you live in Marietta... If you're in East Cobb, it wouldn't be bad (for the Forsyth Campus). Gainsville would obviously be too far.

I live in Roswell and with the new expansion of 400, travel is a breeze. A couple of girls in my class live south of Roswell in Sandy Springs and make the trek up to Forsyth. The campus is located right off of 400.

The LPN-ADN bridge program is only 3 semesters long, so in my mind, if you don't live in the extreme outskirts of Marietta, you could manage the drive. Do a MapQuest to see the exact mileage.

I have searched the whole wide web for online LPN courses. All I get is a bunch of headings reading on line LPN. W hen you follow them you realise that they are not offering the course, I feel like I'm being jerked around. It's like chasing your shadow. Help!!!! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?
