Anybody been accepted into Georgia Southern recently? If so what was your GPA? And when did you get accepted? Thanks in advance!

Have you looked into other colleges in Georgia. Being from Georgia and looking at schools myself I have found out that Georgia State (of course) is a great school for something in alternative to Emory and Mercer. But as for good schools at great prices with less strict pre-reqs Clayton State, Kennesaw State, Medical College of Georgia, and West Georgia are good alternatives.

I'm already into a great school (Georgia Southern) & halfway done with my pre-reqs. I know Southern's nursing school is very competitive so I wanted to get more recent info on the GPA acceptance. Although, if I don't get accepted I will be applying to Georgia Regents University. But thanks for the reply!

In past years, they were turning down people with 3.75's. However, I know someone who got in for this fall with a 3.5. Good luck, tbh their NCLEX pass rate is on the low side. They're only competitive due to limited clinical spots in the area.

I don't know what their recent NCLEX rate is, I just know they're a good school, 15 minutes away from my house & in a small nice area. I would love to get accepted into their nursing program just because I wouldn't have to make a huge move for school, I actually wouldn't have to move at all. As long as I pass the NCLEX (when I get to that point), I'll be happy.

Did you finally get accepted? I just applied and hope for the best. Guess if you did you should have been completed. If so was the NCLEX pass rate good or poor? Thanks
