Hi all, I wanted to start a new thread for those applying to the Chattahoochee Tech LPN program for the Fall semster 2013. Hopefully we can get to know each other and share information as we find out about it. I am waiting to see when the next information session will be posted so we can officially apply to the program. Anyone else planning on applying?

My interview is Friday at 1045! I was not accepted into the RN program. I am really praying I get into this program. I got a 77 on my TEAS and have a 3.47 GPA. I am already a CMA so this will just bump me up one. Good Luck everyone! What are your scores on the TEAS and GPA?

Glad to hear from you sweaver13. I got a 79.4 on teas and have a 3.66 GPA. I know this program gets more competitive every year. I think that is why they added the interview. How long have you been a medical assistant? I am sure it will help you a lot in classes. Do you know the date of orientation? Status letters come out July 5th but I don't have written down the orientation date. Good luck Friday!

Interview completed!! Here is what I feel is fair to share; a panel of 5 professors ask you questions one at a time and in order around the table. They all have a sheet with questions and they each record all of your answers and what appears to be a score for each question answered. They are professional in their white lab coats but the atmosphere is relaxed. No questions about previous classes. Someone on the ASN post mentioned going early so I did and they WERE ahead of schedule because someone cancelled their interview. They are interviewing 3 days rather than the 2 mentioned in the info session. Originally, I heard that we would get letters indicating the orientation date by July 5th but I am not sure that is still the same. Orientation has been set for all day on August 1st. Good luck to all of you and as soon as we hear someone should set up a Facebook page for graduating summer 2014 LPN!! One note to anyone that gets a decline letter in July, stay near your phone on August 1st and be prepared to show up, if called, to fill a vacant seat... last semester 4 people got called on orientation day and all 4 got a seat that day!! Dress for success a direct quote from the director at my info session.

I just had my interview today for PN program I think I answered the questions appropriately. Does anyone know when they will let us know if we are accepted and by what method?
