Georgia Highlands LPN-RN bridge program

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey is anyone applying to the Lpn to RN bridge program at Georgia Highlands college by September 1st, 2017?

Me!!!

Oh awesome! I wonder how many people will be applying? Do you know any other people applying? Have you completed all your classes?

I don't know of anyone else! I'm hoping that increases my chances of getting in í ½í¸œ I have completed all my science classes but I'm taking 3 of the core classes this semester. I made a 86 on the TEAS, 87% in science and math and I think my admission score is somewhere around 1050 (if I did it right í ½í¸). What about you?

I haven't came across anyone else either and I'm praying that it will be a low application year for the program! I've made all A's and a few B's but I still have to take micro and an art class this semester so it really drops my points without that science! I'll have 914-978 points depending on how well I do on the TEAS this Friday! If I had my micro, I could have like 1100-1200 points so it sucks im a semester behind of having them all completed! So I guess we'll see! I'm praying we get in!

The cutoff last year was somewhere around mid 900's I think so you should still have a good chance. Let's pray the cutoff is even lower this year!

I've applied to the Lpn bridge program as well for Spring 2018 at Georgia Highlands. Usually a lot more people communicate if they have applied, so hopefully that's a good sign.

I have applied! I turned my application in on the 30 of August and the gentleman told there was maybe 25 that applied. If I'm not mistaken, there is 22 spots available.

Hey ladies!

So I spoke with Chance on the phone today and he told me that 45 people applied this year! So that means 20 will not make it seeing that they only accept 25 for the bridge program every year. Did you ladies have all of your classes completed before applying. Are you guys an LPN or a paramedic? How was your scored when applying? You guys I'm so nervous! He also informed me that they will be sending acceptance letters out the first or second week of November!

Oh and have you ladies came across anyone else applying for the bridge program??

I applied as well. From what I was told be a nursing instructor 1085 was minimal score last year.

When I spoke with Chance about last years admissions he said the people who got in have scores between 937-1325.66. Are you still taking classes this semester?
