I also have not heard from Georgetown. I expect they will inform candidates via email. At the interview some of the current SNRAs at Georgetown stated they waited longer than the Monday following the interview. This is a holiday week, so I would not expect to hear anything until next week at the earliest. Faculty stated it may take until the end of the 2nd week in Dec. before all of the decisions are made. We should here from them by then. Best of luck!
from my experience you will get an acceptance email the monday following the interview. I have never heard of being accepted without the email, but maybe it happens?? I just know that everyone I know that is in, received the email.
I did not receive an acceptance email the Monday after my interview, I suppose that means I did not get in. The admissions coordinator mentioned that 'official decisions' would be mailed in the next two weeks. I suppose this will be a rejection letter?

Thanks for your reply. Best of luck to you, also. I now feel hopeful.
I attended this program. Be glad you're on the waitlist. You could very well get in as I know a few people accepted off the waitlist. Keep applying. This is a good education but it's one of the hardest programs and the faculty is not supportive at all. Many of us feel that we couldn't recommend the program to friends due to the anti student attitude. No concern for whether you pass or not. If u get in somewhere else- I would take it. However, if this is all you have, then do it, getting the degree is all that matters.

Has anyone heard from Georgetown regarding their decision for the Fall of 2009. I am tormenting over whether I got in or not. Does the "I hope to see you" line at the end of the interview mean anything?
