George Washington University ABSN Fall 2020

I've just applied for the GWU ABSN Fall 2020 and wanted to see if anyone else has? My application is currently under review. Curious to see what everyone's stats are and where they are applying from.

I have a master's in Shakespeare and am a professional actor. I currently work at my local hospital here in Orlando as a Unit Secretary.

I just submitted my application today. My application is under review as well. I have a B.S. in Community Health and currently, work as a medical assistant at an OB-GYN office.

The waiting is SO frustrating. I've heard they rely heavily on the essay if there is any doubt within your grades. Plus I learned they allow deferred enrollment which is a bit frustrating due to the people who were accepted to Spring 2020 can defer to Fall 2020, taking up a spot.

Omg yes the waiting is agonizing! I emailed them today because I saw they extended the final deadline until 4-1-20. Some one got back to me real quick and said they hope to have decisions for completed fall 2020 applications by the end of February.

I see that the Summer 2020 has been extended too. I wish I had applied for both to up my chances haha. I wonder why they extended it? Not enough people? But glad to know we should be hearing this month!

I applied by the original 01/15 deadline and they said we could expect a decision in 4-6 weeks. Does anyone know if we have to wait 4-6 weeks from the new 04/01 deadline now?

I emailed the admissions dept and they said people who applied for the 1/15 deadline should hear back by the end of February.
