Can you please help me.

I got 2 offers one to George Brown/Ryerson and the other Centennial/Ryerson

Please share any pros and cons you heard about George Brown and Centennial Sites.

Not sure which one to pick now. Centennial had an open house but George Brown did not, so I have not met any faculty or heard anything.

My aunt was in the centennial BScN program and she heard that it was harder than the george brown nursing.

But I dont have anything to prove that. Sorry

I don't know which is better, George Brown is located downtown (and so is Ryerson), so it might be more convenient, Centennial is all the way in Scarborough...

I would probably choose the GBC/Ryerson vs Centennial/Ryerson, based on location only, but I don't know all the other factors that might tip the scales toward Centennial/Ryerson.

I'm starting PN at GBC in Sept, and then I'll do the bridge to RN (either at GBC or at Centennial) and then going for the Post-Diploma RN at Ryerson.

Do you mind me asking what your average was when you got in? Because I really want to go there, but they told me that their cut off this year is 80%..

The centennial campus is very small, so everything is with in a short distance. As for the staff, most of them are really good. However every semester there is usually a prof who isn't good. From what i have found.

I just recently graduated from the GBC/Ryerson program and I have to vote GBC! When I started 4 years ago the class sizes were excellent! You were split into 4 sections of about 40-50 people a section. For the major classes like Anatomy, Psych, Theory, etc, section A&B would be together and C&D would be together. When it came down to nursing assessment and nursing practice classes you were split up by section and usually half the section had the first hour and the rest would be in the second hour. That means you only had about 20-25 people in your practical classes which is perfect for learning. Almost all of the staff is really friendly and helpful, but you will have your sour grapes!!

There are even some faculty that will come out to pub night and have a pint with the group!
