Wondering how much more valuable a dual degree program would be compared to just getting one specialty? Talking specifically about doing Vanderbilt dual acute care/ fnp, as apposed to just the fnp or just the acute care.
Also, does anyone know what the pass rate is? I don't mean the rate at which the last group of students passes boards, i mean the percent of people that start the program, that actually finish the program.
Does anyone know in regards to Vanderbilt, what is the priority in getting in? Grades or quality experience? How much of a role does GRE matter?
How hard is it to get a job has an NP working in an ER or in the hospital setting? Are there lots of NP jobs out there that would allow you to work 3 12's?
How hard is it to set up clinical's?
Oh, and lastly, is it possible if you went and got FNP, and was done, can you then get dual certified? Can you go back and then get Adult acute care? How?
thanks for any info?
