I am an LPN doing my RN on-line and I am studying to CLEP my general psych exam. I wanted to purchase a book but I wasn't sure if it is the right one. They have a book for intro to psych. Is that the same as general psych?
Thanks----afton

The best thing to do is to contact a counselor at your school to make sure. I CLEPed out of a couple of things, but I nearly took the wrong English test for my school. So always check with them and get it in writing.

I have had good luck using REAs CLEP study guides. Look for them on Amazon etc.

In my B.Sc., I CLEPed about 30 semester hours. I also did ACT/PEP Tests. I can tell you this with all confidence. If you have textbook called intro to psychology, and you read it from cover to cover, and understand it, you will be very well prepared for the gen psych CLEP test.
