Ok, I know this is a super dumb question as every school is different, but here I am the night before Day One, and I don't know what to put in my bag. Ok, my big thick Nursing book, the nursing modules....what else, besides basic school supplies?

(And can someone go with me?) :chair:

Specializes in geri.

LOL I'm in the same boat (I start on Monday). I am kind of jealous, though. You mean to tell me you can fit your nursing books in your bag and still have room for *gasp* school supplies?

No! I can't fit them all in my bag! I was talking about the ONE big nursing book, two smaller binders holding the modules, and two spirals for notes. And a pen. And four highlighters. :smackingf

I'd definately bring your nursing fundamentals. Thats all we used on my first day of lecture.

We did not actually use any of our books in class. If we actually need a book for class the instructors put it on our schedule in our sylibi. We do have to bring our note packets.

The above is pretty much what we'll have to bring....just the parts of the modules we're currently covering. Our instructor told us she'd let us know when we would need to bring anything else.

Our first day was relatively uneventful, but really good nonetheless. I managed not to embarrass myself. One day less to graduation day! :mortarboard:

I like our instructors very much - they seem laid back and told us how much they like to teach. I appreciate that....we're all there to learn, so I hope we all make a great team this semester.

During the lunch break, I say quietly with a cup of coffee in our sunny atrium, reflecting on how grateful I am to be in this program, at this school, with untold opportunities before me. I vowed not to waste this time in my life.

Good luck to all of us! :nurse:
