Do you ever feel guilty for wanting to quit to go to school? I mean with the economy the way it is and so many people needing jobs, I feel guilty because I have a decent job and am going to quit soon.
I also worry that I won't make it through the first semester and then I won't have a job?
It drives me crazy that I feel this way. I read all these posts and know I am not alone in this decision, but my brain still keeps on going.

I know what you mean.
I don't really feel guilty about quitting my job (actually I can't wait), but it does make me a little nervous. I know I can make it through nursing school, but I just get worried about not being able to afford everything without working. My plan is to not work for the first couple of months so that I can get a feel for the workload. After that, if I can handle it, I'm going to look for a part-time job. We'll see how it goes...
Good luck!

I'm just going to work on sat and sundays when I start nursing school. If it gets too much then I'll just have to quit.
