Hi all!

I have two daughters who are 15 and 13 (she turns 14 in April) so I am lucky. My husband is gone 7 months at a time so I would have to find a babysitter if they were younger. Actually, I've taken classes of one sort or another most of their lives, so we already did that! We all are clutter bugs, so we aim to keep the house nontoxic and I yearn for the day I can hire a good cleaning lady to come in. Anyone else have that fantasy? Otherwise I just spend my time in class, preparing for clinicals, sleeping off the 1 1/2 hours sleep I got the night before clinicals... looking for part time work at a place I like, studying... and whatever. How do I make my family feel special? Lots of notes, lots of hugs, the occasional outing. We are already very close despite my habit of working and getting educated, so that helps.

Hi. I also have kids at home. I'm a 31-year-old single mom of 4 girls (ages 10, 7, 3 and 2). It's tough trying to balance 15 credit hours, work and kids! Just keep plugging on though....we'll make it. :)

Hi all,

I'm a new to nursing just graduated school last year. My son was born the second week of the start of my nursing classes. That was tough on me and my wife. Then he was colicky for the next three plus months. They almost tore us apart. It was tough on us and my instructors! I worked fulltime while my wife stayed at home. My daughter is now 7 and my son 3. Luv um with all my heart even though he is still a stinker today.
