Hi everyone,
My first week is over (thank goodness!) and I have a few observations. :)
First, I'm *exhausted*!! I can't believe how much reading I have and how tired I am!
Second, while it feels great to be on the "other" side (actually *in* nursing school), I understand now how annoying I and my friends must have been to the first quarter students last year. I'm taking developmental pysch (my last co-requisite, non-nursing course) and everyone in there has been *bombarding* me with questions about nursing and A&P. I'm telling them what I know while reminding them that I'm no guidance counselor!
Anyway, I only have about 300 pages to read by Monday, so I know what I'll be doing this weekend. :::sigh:::
I hope you all had a great week!

I know exactly how your feel about the reading. I know I should be reading before class but sometimes I have a really bad habit and do not ALWAYS Read before class because it seems like I read a lot of stuff that is not discussed in class, that is not part of our notes and that we won't be tested on. So I sometimes I end up reading after the lecture that way I know exactly what to read. However I always skim through the chapter and read the first sentence of each paragraph, the headings, the objectives and the summary of the chapter before class to get a basic idea of the chapter.
