Once a semester, each of us in our clinical group have to give all meds to 5 or 6 patients. We usually have 2 patients with all of their meds, but these 2 clinical days we have multiple meds. I am so nervous about it. I have only hung 1 IVPB, and flushed 1 IVL. The meds I think I can handle ok, just the IV's that worry me. Any suggestions?:stone

I remember feeling how you do..........even though it was 16 years ago. Try to remember this is a learning time for you. Everyone expects you will be nervous. I think all the oral meds would trip me up more............just sometimes people can have so many! Always remember the pad response......if you don't know you always look it up. My head is in the med book all the time.........meds are always changing............
hang in there,

My advice is to go to your lab and practice if you are able. It is all about getting your own personal routine down. I totally understand where you are coming from. I can handle doing IVPB's now, but 6 months ago, I was a nervous wreck.
