Here is my story, i failed out of Rn school in 2011 BUT im currently finishing up my Lpn program this Aug, in at the top of my class & on honor roll. I want to pursue my RN within the next year or so & want to know from those that failed out & didnt quit was it hard for you to get accepted into a RN program? Im want to do lpn to bsn & i know i'll have to put my dismissal on the application but will that be a hinderance or determinjng factor? Thanks!

I failed a class once, but not the program, so I am not sure but I think completion of the LPN program and honors would be enough to warrant a re-entry. I would make an appointment with your academic advisor.

Best of luck!

schools have regulations about how many courses you can fail before being considered for admission. I recommend contacting an advisor from the RN school (s) to get the best answer. Congrats on turing your career around!! Some people would have stopped trying but you did not. That says a lot about you!
