Just wanting to see if anybody else is going through distance learning for RN....If you have any tips? TIA

Currently enrolled in Excelsior ASN program. This is the second time around for me. Best advice I can give is don't let things slide. It's very easy to have a test scheduled, then talk yourself out of taking it on that particular date, cancelling it, then rescheduling, etc. Pretty soon you find yourself paying another fee to carry the program over to another year. I'd say, go in enthusiastically and get it over with. What program are you enrolled in?

doing Rue then excelsior for clinicals, at the advice of some coworkers, not time limit to finish up classes Good Luck! Thanks for responding

I've seen all the debate about using companies like Rue, but I also saw that they furnish directed study. I am doing all the research myself (in other words, the hard way) b/c I don't want the extra expense. I think using Rue probably is better. Good luck to you, especially when you do your CPNE!
