Hey, as a male on some clinical floors, I go with the instructor....I've got some Xtra large hands and Medium is sometimes the only gloves I can find at said moment. So, I end up just having to be super careful with them....just have to deal I guess. Also, my instructor was a real stickler with handwashing/gloves.....

Who knew this would be an issue. Today were did practice and return demos on hand washing & gloving. Only 4 out of 10 passed the hand washing the first time. I was one of them. THEN we did gloving. Well, we were to put our gloves on before our turn so I had mine on and I ended up being last in line. The first time I almost had it but my first glove didn't stay inside of the second one, it fell out. I understand that's not passing but I was having an issue with my gloves being tight and sticking to my hands. So, I told her they gave me medium in my kit and maybe I needed large and she just said "you have big hands, you're just going to have to deal with it because it certain clinical settings you won't have an option." That's fine, I understand but does it seem fair during return demos/testing, when every one else can wear their correct size? I passed the second time but not easily they are just too tight. It made me anxious the rest of the day, we did practive of vitals and my heart rate was 120. lol
