Fluid Balance

I'm trying to get my mind to thinking about this fluid balance of Hypo/Hyper Kalemia, Natremia, Magensimea, and Calcemia. Does anyone know of a trick or acronym or song to kind of make all of these make sense. If I can understand why it causes the side effects-I can pretty much think of interventions on my own. THANKS!

I sure could have used something like that years ago when I was studying for my Intravenous Certification Exam! Have you tried doing a seach of medical schools? The med students love acronyms! I had the great fortune to see a patient experiencing carpopedospasm when she became very hypocalcemic (not so great for the patient though). Once you see something like that you never forget it.
