FINALLY! I've been waiting all semester to get to clinicals. It's LTC, but at least it means we get to interact with people rather than do lab stuff! Not much planned for tomorrow other than orientation as far as I know. We're supposed to bring some sort of little snack thing for group(Nothing like a plastic box of cinnamon donut holes...MMMMM), and a bag with 3-4 things in it to describe us to our clinical group members.
Then, starting next week, we get clients assigned and research, care, etc....
Just ready to go. Anyone have any tips on what to make SURE I bring?
(I have a hollow clipboard with calc for med calcs, I know my steth, penlight, badge, am taking RNotes guide(not sure if I'm allowed to use it), black sharpie, taking paper(buying little notebook after-forgot to buy it tonight), pens, a booklet of paperwork we are to use-disorder reports/database/tips., all I have so far.)
Good for you!!! My class is still a little over a week away, but I am terrified. I probably won't sleep because I'll be anxious/nervous and anything else that comes to mind. I am glad you posted a little list of what you brought your first day, I think I will reference that :)
