Anyone attend or know any info about Dominican U of Cal? How realistic is it to get done in 4yrs? What do you like or don't like about the University? If you got in with a Merit Scholarship was it very difficult to achieve the renewal the remaining years? How are the clinicals? It is very pricey? Are there many hidden costs? Any info would be appreciated.

I called them, and was told that the tuition was $58k/year. To rich for my blood.

Just attended a preview day. Tuition is about $30k but they given very generous merit scholarships that are renewal up to 3 additional years. The scholarships are based on gpa and college test scores. With a gpa of 3.4 and an Sat of 1040 you qualify for $12k off. There is not a set number of scholarships either. If you are admitted and meet the qualifications you get it.

I learned quite a bit on preview day but would like to know more from someone who attends there.

I heard it gets very quiet on the weekends. Are there enough people who live on campus around on the weekends? I know this is a very academic oriented school not a party school.
