I am a student nurse and for one of my classes I am doing a project on autisim and I was wondering if any of you had any ideas on where to look for the best and most reliable information on the internet about autisim. I am not a computer person and I don't seem to navigate the web too well. I can use as many suggestions as possible. Thanks, Jessica:confused:

I usually use these sites for searches, and get lots of good answers here.

From the website of the National Organization for Rare Diseases, a web site for diseases that aren't that Popular and don't have a lot of attention on them, I found these two links that lead to other links. One is for autism, the other is for the variant of autism called Asperger's syndrome

I also agree you can do a general search on dogpile and AskJeeves
If I were in school, I would pay the money for a Cinahl subscription. It is surprisingly affordable and you can do a search of the professional literature and then grab your articles from the school library. Their web site is http://www.cinahl.com
