Help! any recommendations/warnings RE: applying to AS degree programs in Massachusetts? is the competetion as bad as everyone says? tell me your expierences! all help appreciated. darave

northern essex (lawrence and haverhill) has an excellent program...tough to get into but if you do the prereqs well it is easier.

Mt. Wachusett CC in Gardner; competitive pgm to get in (out of 500 candidates, only 100 are let in), but it's a good program. Both day and evening options. 2 years. Make sure you have all your pre-reqs done first, that helps.
