anyone else not know yet? (class of 2006)

bethany, girl, I am right there with you! I am supposed to find out this week if I get an interview. I was so stressed/bummed out that I had to call today to see if they had started calling people for interviews. The secretary laughed and said that she hadn't gotten the file yet, but that she would get it this afternoon. She also said she thought I was in the interview group based on the number of points I had. But it's still torture waiting for the phone to ring! I will keep my fingers crossed for you and everyone else waiting to know!

I'm still waitin too...we have an entrance exam...and there's still one more in the middle of next mont...so I figure it'll be the beginning of july at the EARLIEST. The wait is awful.

Hmmm, I should call the secretary and try to squeeze some info out of her... I know which one is in charge of calculating the points, too! :chuckle I am kind of scared that they'll calculate my score wrong or something... I've been down there and called enough so I *know* they have all of my info, but what if they don't use my current GPA or something? arggggh

The school I applied to goes by a point system as well, but there's no interview, thank goodness- the highest scores get the spots, period, and ties are dealt with in a very methodical way. Just the thought of an interview after all of this makes me shudder... you brave brave girl! Good luck, A!!!! I'm sure you'll do awesomely! (is that a word?)

ohhh, see, I shouldn't complain, you have to wait a whole month longer than me... Two entrance exams? whew, that's tough!!!! :eek:

you should give the secretary a call! What's it gonna hurt? the worst she can say is she can't tell you over the phone, and then you'll wait, but she might be able to give you an idea of when you are gonna find out! i was tha same way when they were calculating my points! I made sure that they took the pre-reqs that I got the best grades in, I hand delivered my test scores and called 2 weeks before the deadline to make sure that they had everything! call me anal, but I was terrified that some form was going to get lost! I hope you find out very soon, I know the stress is killer!

I applied to 4 different schools each being different in the point system sense. I didnt get accepted to my first choice but did to my second. Im kind of sad yet happy that i can start my studying. I dont have to do an interview, you guys must be going to a better school (or at least a harder one to get into!)

Where are you guys wanting to study???

Mandy, I am applying to a rad tech program. I don't know about my school being better or anything, but I do know that they had over 300 applicants for 32 spots! so they have to whittle us down somehow! i hate interviews though, but at least I am one step closer. Congrats to you on getting accepted!

I had my mandatory financial aid review...I have to take the entrance exam June 2nd and interview right after. Talk about the stress...AND the secretary called to tell me that my transcripts AND references still hadn't made it yet...:angryfire :confused:

I have to call and check with her again today, if they don't have the paperwork by the time I test, I am out automatically. :eek:

I guess that I should have said that a little better...you only have to take the entrance exam once...but they offer it about 8 times. So...if you take it early and don't make high enough you can take it again. I took mine about 2 weeks ago and got my score today!! I got an 84!! You have to make a 50% to be considered. That doesn't seem like much until you sit down and take the test. I left thinking that I had done awful. Anyway..there is one more test next month for people who haven't taken it yet. Once all of their scores come in (hopefully by the end of June) the school will start the admitting process. I talked to the secretary today at the school. I like to keep in touch every 3 or 4 weeks just to keep my name out there. She said that everything in my file was in order and it looked good for me to start in the fall. I'm keepin my fingers crossed. Good luck to you all. ~~Ash~~
