Tomorrow we are being evaluated/graded (already!!!! first day back was today!) on the skills we learned from last semester before we start clinicals on Thursday.

I'm pretty good on all injections, dressings, & sterile stuff.

But are there any tricks to remembering all thats needed for a head to toe assessment? Thanks!!

Try checking out these links, the first one in particular:

http://www.mededcenter.com/module_viewer.asp?module=+118#headtotoe - this is a great guide to physical assessment. It is called Head to Toe Assessment in 5 Minutes (Well, maybe a little longer than that) that was originally posted on this thread https://allnurses.com/forums/f205/help-health-assessment-evals-139193.html by SCmomof3.

http://connection.lww.com/Products/Bickley/src.asp - this is the online Student Resource Center for Bates" Guide to Physical Examination. If you click on the link "Head-to-Toe Assessment (Adult)" you will be taken to another group of links which will open up videos of the examination process of those areas of the body. You may also view streaming video of physical examination by clicking on "Visit A Visual Guide to Physical Assessment".

Thank you Daytonite!!
