Hello I was in a private Accelerated BSN program. I got sick, missed few clinical days & was released from program. I can appeal but it is so expensive!

So does this mean I can't enter another BSN program because I was let go?

If yes, Should I get LVN first?

If Yes, should I then get experience, and do LVN to RN?

Any advice would be welcome!

Thank you

I'm confused. If you got sick and missed clinical days because of that, it doesn't make sense that you would be dismissed from the entire program. Please speak to your academic advisor and if that doesn't help, go straight to the Dean. I also went through an ABSN program. I had classmates that got sick, couldn't keep up, etc. They were either advised to take one semester off or were continued in the program, but on a part-time basis. Sometimes they had to wait a year if the clinical needed was only offered once a year. Again, kicking you out of the program does not make sense unless your GPA was also unsatisfactory. Good luck.

Hi I am in CA. I was just wondering if I can no longer attend ANY Nursing program because I was dismissed because I was a couple days shy of completing my clinical when I became sick(thus I failed).

I agree that this doesn't make sense. I failed a clinical due to illness and being absent two times, but I would have had to do more to get thrown out of the entire program. Did you have prior failures?

And to answer your question ...no one knows the requirements and restrictions of every nursing school and no one knows your exact, personal circumstances. You're going to have to put some effort into this and do some research on your own.
