advanced med surg (4th semester) blues!!!

I was in the 4th semester and ready to gradluate in December, until two weeks ago. For some reason, I started 4th semester extremely nervous and the instructor was extremely intimidating towards me and was unapproachable to all students.......... we lost 8 students and are all completly bummed. It's not that we didn't know the material, as the majority of it was review. The test questions were just completly outragous. Anyone with advice???????????? I am scheduled to return to school in Feb. so I plan on studying the material over again and completly memorize it.

I'm sorry that this happened to you. I'm starting to get the same way because we are in the home stretch. I think it has something to do with the realization that in a short amount of time you're going to be on your own without and instructor to help or bail you out when you need it. Is there anyone still in the program that you know and could maybe get notes or lectures from. Do you have the syllabus for the semster that outlines what you are to be doing? The only advice that I can give is if you have the syllabus make yourself some notes and read the chapters and just keep yourself in stuy mode so when Feb roles around you'll know the info front and back.
