2 science/lab classes in one semester?

I am considering taking Chemistry and A&P II next semester (and possibly Sociology). A couple of people in my A&P I class told me they would never attempt 2 science classes with labs in one semester.

 Now I'm getting kind of worried! I don't work but do have 2 small kids. MY average class load is 4-5 classes a semester with a 3.9 GPA. I'd hate to blow my GPA because I'm overloaded.

Anyway, what's your opinion on 2 lab classes? Have you done this? How hard was it?

Thanks for your input!

Not trying to sound mean here, but always remember to look at the study & personal habits of those that tell you something will be too hard. Good luck

I agree with what StudentSandra said... It depends on your study habits and if you can handle the load. Your performance in your sciences can make or break your acceptance into a program. Trust that I know this from true- to- life experiences. I had very poor study habits (until I realized that I wasn't hurting anyone but myself and was damaging my chances of becoming a nurse).

By God's grace... I was accepted into a nursing program. If I had to start over again I would not overload myself with sciences. But that is me... If you can handle it- I encourage you. If you truly don't feel that you can- don't let yourself be coerced into doing it.

Well guys,

Youn have said it all. I am doing fifteen credits for the summer. two in summer A and two in summer B.

I am doing A&P1 and Chemistry in Summer 1 and American History and A&P11 in summer B. I know I have to work very hard but I have made up my mind to do just that because I have to get into the nursing college next year.

Just be dedicated and everything will work out.

Ann.
