I am finishing up my first year of nursing and soon will hopefully be sitting in to take the NCLEX-LPN exam sometime in July or August. I am enrolled in a community college (ADN program)

I will resume back in August to finish up getting my R.N. degree. I only have 10 months from August til the day I graduate which is May. I worked very, very hard, cried, stressed over every single step of the way. At times I had two exams on one day!! But I made it and I thank GOD for it. I have 3 kids twins (12) and a 14yr old. I had to quit my job because I worked the 3rd shift and when I told my employer I was accepted into the R.N. program she did not won't to work with me on my schedule due to the fact that I had to be at clinicals by 7:00 a.m. So I have no job! My parents help me out tremendosly and I sacrafice alot again I thank GOD for IT!! Because I have learned so much from this experience!

The LPN is accelerated and a requirment at our college if you have a GPA of 2.50 or lower. I am in the last 2 weeks of it! Again I thank GOD! For It!

I guess the next thing I am scared of is what the next 10 month have left!! I am scared!! Can anyone offer some words of wisdom or suggestions on how to get thru the last years of Nursing school. I could sure use it!!

Thanks

I just want to say congratulations on finishing your LPN! Good luck on your NCLEX! Just think how fast the last year flew by! The next 10 months will go just as fast! You are so blessed to have such wonderful parents! We're here for you hon!

Prayer, more prayer, and then some more prayer. You only have 10 months left! It will fly by. Try to rest as much as you can this summer. You'll be refreshed and ready to buckle down and bulldoze through this next year. You can do it! Good luck too you! Be Blessed.:)
