I am interested in hearing from people who work a weekend package. Why did you choose this, do you have families, is the pay better, how many weekends in row do you work before you get time off. Any input appreciated. Thanks

Is this what has been called the "Baylor Plan"?

The weekend package is probably also referred to as weekend option. If we are talking about the same thing, some places have you work two 12's on sat & sun...sometimes longer shifts, but pay is equivalent to three 12's during the week. People who I know that work them have children or just like having more free time during the week.

I work a "Baylor" plan. 16 hours shifts on Sat and Sun...I get 30% above base rate for working every weekend. If I take my vacation days on the weekend my pay reverts back to base rate. We work every weekend.
