While skimming the board I looked up at the TV. On WBAL-TV they just did a short on a show called SOS on the dwindling numbers of fighters on the front line of health care. They zero'd in on the drcreasing numbers of nurses in the health care field, specifically for this program in the ER's. They were also talking about the increasing numbers of visits, of wait times and of patients being held in the ER's because of shortages of nurses on the floors. It was only about a 15 minute report, but it appeared to be accurate and it was on a national TV broadcast. We can only hope that there will be more and more and more of this type of reporting.
Shame I didn't know it was going to be on. I could have taped it and played it hourly in the ER waiting room. Think it would help???
