Wake up crying?

A post by JeannieM about her dreams made me think of this.

I often wake up crying after a night sleep, for no reasons, I don't even remember dreaming... I can feel sadness thought. I can cry like that, sobbing almost, for minutes. Then, I'm OK. Like relieved. Does that happens to anyone else? At work, people are more into bad dreams or they cry because of a particular patient or situation. No out of the blue like I do.

I want to say that I'm not depressive or anything like that, it just happens. Anyone?

:o :) :o :)

could be many things.........

sleep is a release a journey out of body.....

dreams not remembered, but you still have them.....

could be nothing.........

nothing is wrong with a few tears...........

if it continues you will know what to do.......

anytime.......micro

My mom does this. When I lived at home, my room was next to her's. She would wake me up during the night crying loudly tears and all. Once she wakes up, she says she doesn't remember dreaming and doesn't feel sad when she wakes up.

Doen't know why it happens, but its interesting

I've done this several times over the course of my lifetime. I have the benefit of remembering the dream...usually someone died.

It's just intense dreaming. Nothing to be concerned about.

I've never actually woke up crying, but I have had dreams that have caused be to be very sullen, sometimes for the better part of a day.

I've always wanted to get one of those dream interpretation books, keep it at my bedside for easy reference :)

Anyways, I wouldn't worry about it. Like micro said, sleep is a release... helps you get rid of all the things you've been holding in.
