We at our hospital is facing a union vote later on this week. The UAW wants to represent the employees. Can a union be effective in a hospital setting. I am a RN and currently work in ICU. What has been your experience working in a union vs non-union hospital.

Try "Nursing Activism" lots of union/ non-union opinions there

Best unions are those that are by and exclusively for nurses-- I don't know if the Ohio Nurses Assoc. does the collective bargaining or not, but in my experience, that is the best way to go.
